課程概述 |
This course is comprised of a series of acting exercises designed to 1) help students familiarize with Shakespear's language, knowing the distinctions between prose, rhymed verse and unrhymed verse; 2) provide students with different strategies to be used when speaking Shakespeare’s language. |

課程目標 |
This course will enable students to gain the skills to read the acting signals that Shakespeare built into his plays and show you how to make interpretative choices. Students will (1) discover how to bring Shakespearean heightened language to life in performance; (2) explore the themes, characters, language of Shakespeare's plays; (3) rehearse and present two Shakesperean soliloquies; and (4) work with a scene partner on a Shakespearean duologue. |

有意修課者，請將以下書面甄選資料於2024/2/15前寄給呂柏伸老師（poshenlu09@ntu.edu.tw），主旨註明「莎士比亞甄選XXX(你的大名)，逾期將喪失甄選資格。
資格：必須已修習過「表導演專題–寫實戲劇」或「表演二」。
* 欲修習本課程者，請於第一次上課時前來參加甄選。
* 有意擔任2024學期製作《哈姆雷特機器人》演員者，強烈鼓勵前來參加甄
選。甄選上課程者，不表示已經甄選上學製演員，反之亦然。
* 甄選時需表演一段莎翁角色的獨白(soliloque)或長篇大論(long speech)。
* 文本請務必選自以下指定劇本及譯本 （不准使用梁實秋或朱生豪的譯本）
《哈姆雷》、《威尼斯商人》、《皆大歡喜》(建議用彭鏡禧老師翻譯的譯本）
《羅密歐與茱麗葉》、《第十二夜》、《麥克貝斯》（建議用方平教授的譯本）
請將你挑選的獨白打下來，並加以說明：
1、這是那個角色說的
2、出自那一個劇本
3、角色是在什麼樣的情境底下講了這段獨白 （也就是，之前發生了那些事件，讓角色有感而發而說出這段獨白）
4、角色說這段獨白的行動是什麼？也就是，他為何要說？說了要幹嘛？或期待能幹什麼？
